| How are personal research activities reflected in teaching activities? | – Researches on English use are developed from some problems found in classes, therefore the findings strongly improve teaching activities, such as the use of internet in English learning; sexist language and its impact on language learning, and the translation of the specific word on a chosen text towards students’ understanding in reading class.
– Other researches concerning with language use in socio-cultural perspectives also enrich classroom discussions such as the concept of politeness, taboo words in TV series, slang words in a certain community, English use in social media, and English use in hotels. |
