EMMW studies linguistic and cultural phenomena related to the use of English as a lingua franca in Indonesia. The linguistic and cultural issues experienced by Indonesian people as non-native speakers who use English to interact with native or non-native English communities give insight that English may vary among its users and result variations and changes. EMMW addresses these phenomena to study and purposefully hopes that theoretical and practical findings may benefit to language policy and become good practices of business, tourism, and education for discussion in global forums.
