Full Time Study

The English Department curriculum for the 2021/2022 academic year was prepared based on the decision of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, University of Jember Number: 2991/UN25.1.6/KR/2021, Dated 28 July 2021 regarding the Determination of Changes to the English Literature Study Program Curriculum.

Curriculum for the English Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, University of Jember for the 2021/2022 academic year is the new curriculum with OBE (Outcome Based Education) curriculum, which is a curriculum based on learning outcomes that is prepared in line with the implementation of the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program.

In this curriculum, students are required to take 90 credits of compulsory study subjects (Body of Knowledge) and 55 credits of supporting courses, so that the total number of credits that must be completed by students of the English Department is 145 credits.


Body of Knowledge or Compulsory Courses (90 credit points)

Body of Knowledge or Compulsory Courses are courses that are obligatorily enrolled to successfully complete the study program. Students have to accomplish all Compulsory Courses, unless they fail to graduate as Bachelor of Literature, Language, and Culture.

Enrichment Courses (55 credit points)

Enrichment Courses are courses for students to empower their field of interest toward particular subjects. The offered subjects are in line with the spirit of MBKM
