Quality Assurance

Based on laws and regulations, the higher education quality assurance system is divided into 2, to as follows; the UNEJ higher education quality assurance system carried out by the universities themselves called the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) and the External Quality Assurance System (EQAS) conducted by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and/or Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM).

Standard category for Internal Quality Assurance System(IQAS) consists of main standard and additional standard. Main standard has three sub parts: learning standard, research standard, and community service standards. Additional standard has five sub standards: custom standard, disability standard, disaster mitigation standard, green campus standard, and administration service standard.

Vision

To become an excellent unit that ensures the enactment of a quality management system in the implementation of international standard higher education to support the development of language, literature, culture and media, with an ecological perspective.

Mission

 

  1. Facilitating the acceleration of the international accreditation of Study Programs;
  2. Ensuring the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) in all study programs and educational staff;
  3. Carrying out a satisfaction survey of lecturers, students, education staff, alumni and graduate users to improve the quality of education and the quality of graduates in a sustainable manner;
  4. Coordinating with other work units within the Faculty of Humanities, University of Jember in an effort to improve the quality of resources, governance and educational services.

Quality Assurance job description

 

  1. Planning and creating internal quality assurance system (SPMI) documents at the faculty level;
  2. Assisting study programs in preparing quality assurance system;
  3. Socializing, monitoring and evaluating the quality assurance system at the Faculty level
  4. Implementing the Faculty’s quality assurance system
  5. Compiling, auditing, and reporting the Faculty level evaluation results on Lecturers’ learning documents every semester.
  6. Compiling and evaluating the questionnaires of students, stakeholders, and lecturers’ satisfaction.
  7. Recommending follow-up plans of the study program and Faculty.
